At our practice, we emphasize nurturing compassion and acceptance as we explore new choices and develop relational skills through relational psychotherapy. My foundation is rooted in Gestalt therapy, enriched by experience with wellness coaching and participation in seminars, including a two-day intensive with Terry Real at the Leading Edge Seminar in Toronto in December 2024.
Incorporating love and kindness as essential behaviors, I believe that these qualities are foundational to our primary relationships and overall well-being. Recognizing the need for love, belonging, and acceptance is crucial to our mental health. Our work together will focus on emotional regulation and fostering awareness of how our nervous system influences our responses. We strive to cultivate a healthy relationship with yourself, nurturing your inner voice to promote self-compassion. This process includes examining limiting beliefs and challenging thought patterns to enhance your connection with yourself and others, including your partner.
I draw inspiration from practitioners such as Tara Brach, Peter Levine, Ellyn Bader, and Gabor Maté. While I have participated in various online seminars through reputable sources like NICABM, PESI, and Sounds True, it’s important to note that my approach is informed by these insights and is tailored to meet your needs during our sessions. When working with couples, my focus is on fostering acceptance and love through relational and experiential processes. I integrate Terry Real's methods to address confrontation, honesty, and mutual support, incorporating coaching techniques when appropriate, and always with your consent.
As a trauma-informed practitioner, I am aware of the impact of trauma on mental health and well-being. I approach our sessions with sensitivity and a commitment to ethical standards. I am skilled at identifying relationship dynamics and am here to help illuminate your unique situation.

Together, we can nurture the person you aspire to be while developing skills to address any self-sabotaging tendencies that may hinder your relationships. We will work to confront past traumas that influence your current relational dynamics, aiming to break patterns of intergenerational trauma and other challenges.

You thought you had to do it alone.
You don’t need to do this alone. We humans were not wired to deal with life alone.
If you are trying to rely only on yourself for really important things, for your innermost thoughts and fears, you may be isolating yourself emotionally.
We all need someone in our inner circle, even you.
You owe it to yourself to reach for the support available for you and your relationships to thrive.
Work towards creating your best life with what is available to you, professional relational support was not available in a meaningful way to most of the previous generations of our recorded history. Only now, are therapists starting to truly understand that your whole life contributes to your mental health, and that we have profound impact on each other. We adapt to those closest in our life, often in defensive ways that cause other relationships to exist on the same narrow plane. Today, you can explore who you are and who you wish to be as a spouse, a best friend, a parent, a child, a sibling, a leader, a teacher, etc. It may not have been safe for your most sensitive parts to emerge in your life as it was, and your stronger, defensive parts may have had to take over.
I will create a clearing for you, where all your parts can emerge to find wholeness by accepting our parts that come from our dark energy, dealing with past traumas that cause that storage of trauma emotions as negative energy, and being open to new ways of being with others, by first developing safety for new choices in your relational therapy or coaching sessions.
I’m glad you’re here. We humans are pack animals, we need each other. There is no shame in that.
