Couple Therapy

Because you want to live your best life. Together.

I’ll be on your team for a bit.

Together, we will explore your life—where you are now and where you envision being. Using a Gestalt relational approach, along with trauma-informed techniques learned from seminars with experts such as Terry Real and Ellyn Bader, we will work collaboratively to address your unique needs.

We will examine your relationship values and peel back the layers of experiences that may have shaped you over time. Throughout this journey, we will identify and address imbalances, confrontations, and behaviors that may be causing pain in your relationship.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I will be on your team, supporting you both as you learn to nurture your partnership and create a sense of safety, love, and belonging. It is essential that you feel heard and understood in your deepest thoughts, dreams, and fears, ultimately working together to establish a shared vision of your life.

I want to assure you that informed consent is a crucial part of our collaboration—we will discuss your rights and what to expect throughout the therapeutic process. Additionally, I am committed to fostering an inclusive and culturally sensitive environment that honors the diversity of all relationship structures.

If deeper issues arise that require specialized support outside my training, I will guide you towards appropriate resources or specialists to ensure you receive the care you need.

It is my honor to join you on this journey of growth and discovery. Together, we will navigate your path to a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.

Not sure where to start?

Consider these programs as a starting place for your next personal growth journey as a couple.

  • 8 - Week Couple Reboot Program

Ready to strengthen your emotional connection and improve communication with your partner? Click here to discover how our 8-week couples program can help you build a deeper, more fulfilling relationship, one step at a time.

These programs are simply scaffolds of suggested focus for therapy sessions. The actual sessions may stick to the suggested outline or go to where support is needed.

You, the client, are always in the drivers seat in terms of content, duration, and frequency of your sessions. There is no minimum or maximum of sessions and consent is an ongoing process.

  • 8 - Week Couple Repair and Rebuild Program

This program is designed for couples seeking to repair their relationship and rebuild trust.

Each week focuses on practical exercises and therapeutic interventions, combining Gestalt with other techniques to help partners reconnect, heal past wounds, and create a stronger foundation for the future.

While we provide this progam as a possible topic marker for sessions, the work that emerges is always fully in your control as the client. You are the expert of your life, we are just joining you on your team for a bit.

  • 16 - 28 Week Personal Growth for Couples

Our families of origin take us as far as they can emotionally and then it’s up to us to continue our personal growth in our most important relationships.

While some behavior patterns may change more quickly with new awareness, personal growth does not happen overnight. This program of sessions is intended to nurture personal growth and connection, and to deal with interrupting intergenerational patterns as we create more fulfilling, connected, loving relationships. Loving kindness is our target behaviour.

If you’ve been taught to be strong alone or to, “Buck up and be a man,” for example, and you’ve succeeded in that, this program may be a great starting place.

Choosing to nurture your best selves, together.

Couples Therapy & Coaching is for anyone seeking to grow both as individuals and as a couple. It’s important to note that you don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from couples therapy. Many of us replay early relationship models from our lives until we develop awareness of wanting something different.

Your feelings matter, and how you feel in your relationship is significant. As social beings, we co-regulate with those around us. You may find yourself at a crossroads where it feels easier to be alone than together. Maybe you're generally happy but know there's potential for even greater fulfillment. You could be facing challenges that push the limits of what you can handle, or perhaps you feel unfulfilled and wish to invest more deeply in your relationship.

Seeking support is vital, just as you would for your career or health. How much time, energy, and support does your primary relationship deserve?

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I am dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore these concerns. Informed consent is an integral part of our work together—I will explain the therapy process and your rights as a client. We celebrate and respect all individuals and relationship structures, aiming to create an inclusive environment for everyone.

“Relationships Matter.

Invest in yours.”
